Cloudesk Notes

Notes that know your business.

Write anything — meeting notes, call notes, plans, checklists, how-tos — in blocks you can drag around. Your daily note starts with today's meetings and tasks already in it. Keep notes on any invoice, deal, patient or page, filed in that module's folder by themselves. Share them with your team, into a chat, by email or as a read-only link, and let AI summarise, find the action items and turn them into tasks.

How it works

Three steps, no surprises

  1. 1

    Write in blocks

Type “/” for headings, to-dos, tables, callouts, toggles, code, images, dates, live calculations and records from any module — or just use Markdown as you type.

  2. 2

    Keep it where it belongs

Nested folders, tags and pins. A note saved from the CRM goes in a CRM folder, one from an invoice stays linked to that invoice.

  3. 3

    Share and act on it

Share with the workspace or chosen people, post it in a chat, email it, or publish a read-only link — then let AI pull out the action items into Projects.

The tour

Every tool, up close.

  1. 01Daily notes

    Your day, already written in.

Open Today and the note starts with your meetings from Calendar and the tasks due from Projects, as links. Add what matters, then the end-of-day wrap-up — and step back or forward a day.

    • Meetings and tasks filled in for you
    • One note per day, made when you open it
    • Previous and next day in one click

  2. 02Elements

    Type “/” for anything.

Headings, to-dos, tables, callouts, toggles, code, images, dates, live calculations and records from any module — from the “/” menu, the Elements panel you drag from, or Markdown as you type.

    • Drag blocks to reorder them
    • Calculations that update as you type
    • Bold, highlight, links and [[note links]]
The “/” menu open under the action items
  3. 03On every page

Notes right where the work is.

The notes button in the top bar opens the notes for the page you're on — a customer, an invoice, a deal, any record — and saves a quick note to it, filed in that module's folder.

    • Linked to the page it was written on
    • Filed by module automatically
    • Markdown to-dos in quick notes

  4. 04Sharing

Share it the way you work.

Keep a note private, let the workspace read or edit it, add chosen people, post it in a chat as a card, email it, or publish a read-only link you can turn off any time.

    • Workspace or chosen people, read or edit
    • Into a chat or an email
    • A public link, off when you want

In detail

What you get with Cloudesk Notes

A daily note that fills itself in

Open Today and your meetings from Calendar and the tasks due from Projects are already there, as links. Go back or forward a day.

Good to know

We'd rather be upfront than surprise you later:

  • Notes are in every workspace and on every plan, including Free.
  • AI features use your workspace's AI connection and count against your plan's monthly AI allowance; they're unavailable until one is set up.
  • Images are added by link — there's no file upload for notes yet.
  • Two people editing the same note at the same moment aren't merged live: the second save is told to reload or keep theirs.
  • Export a note as Markdown, text, HTML or PDF (print), and all your notes as CSV; import Markdown and text files.

Questions people ask

Who can see my notes?+

Only you, until you share one — with everyone in the workspace (to read or to edit), with chosen people, or as a public read-only link you can turn off any time.

Can I write notes on an invoice or a customer?+

Yes. Open the notes button on that page and save a note — it's linked to the page and filed in that module's folder.

What happens to notes I delete?+

They go to the Trash for 30 days, where you can restore them, then they're deleted for good.
